BLAXICAN
A teenager who is about to be aged out of the foster care system is terrified of leaving his environment while dealing with generational trauma and just when he has the courage to face the world, a sexual encounter takes him deeper into agoraphobia.
Blaxican is a new film by director Juan Escobedo. He explores what it is to be Afro Latino in the USA through his character Jesse, a young foster youth about to be aged out of the foster care system.
